Stability and Mobility Playground
In this weekend workshop we will explore the many ways in which the concepts of stability and mobility are inseparable in our yoga practice and functional movement. The same is true for our breathing and thinking processes.
In order to have physical stability we need to be able to return to any given bodily position after a disturbance. Mobility is our ability to access and be able to control or be able to stabilize throughout our full range of motion.
We will utilize both deliberate and playful practice as we learn principles and practices that will help us mobilize and stabilize simultaneously. This work/play goes way beyond asana. It is to be experienced and explored in the many different aspects of our lives.
